Features:
A glove made from velour and honeycomb fabric as well as a hook closure with safety strap. Independent finger splints, made from malleable aluminum, are attached via hook and loop. The finger splints can be easily adjusted allowing for extension or flexion of the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and interphalangeal (IP) joints.
Function:
Immobilization of the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and interphalangeal (IP) joints in full extension or flexion. The design of the glove with individual finger splints enables the professional to select which finger or fingers to immobilize. As the splints are independent, the index, middle, ring or pinkie can be immobilized by selecting the required splint, sliding it into the slot and fastening with the hook.
Indications:
- As a method for immobilizing the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints
- Finger fractures, dislocations, trauma injuries, capsular ligamentous injuries, metacarpal fractures, retractile scars in burns cases, bursitis
