MedSpec The Gripper Hinged Knee Brace

The MedSpec Gripper Hinged Knee Brace provides effective medial/lateral ligament support for a variety of knee conditions. LCL and MCL sprains, lateral and medial instabilities (side to side), meniscal tears, osteoarthritis and knee strains while resisting distal migration. Gripper hinged knee brace provides stabilization to the middle and sides of your knee without slipping down. The length of the brace measures 12″ in length. The MedSpec Gripper Hinged Knee Brace provides effective medial/lateral ligament support for a variety of knee conditions. It’s the only off the shelf hinged knee brace that has super strong metal hinges and super light. Straps close in opposite direction to prevent twisting. Skinloc on the calf to prevent slipping, which is a big problem with most other off the shelf hinged knee braces. Wrap around design and padding along the hinges for comfort. Straps are half elastic and half nonelastic for expansion during muscle contraction.

Compliance & Migration

• Internal SkinLoc™ pad works in concert with the outer closure strap to grip the proximal end of the calf muscle and inhibit the brace from migrating distally, thereby enhancing patient compliance.
  

   

Durability

• Straps are made of high tension elastic that allows for numerous applications without fraying or losing closure strength. Metal hinge pockets are reinforced on the inside with ballistic nylon material at wear points to prevent hinge from wearing through the pocket.
  

   

Ease of Application & Comfort

• The wraparound anterior closure allows for ease of application and an optimum fit. Open popliteal minimizes material bunching during flexion to improve comfort.

Materials

•  The Gripper 12” is available in two different base materials: Neoprene and CoolFlex™ The neoprene version provides warmth and superior compression. The Gripper 2 is made with a thinner and lighter neoprene. The CoolFlex version is breathable and hypoallergenic.
