Medi Armschlinge (Arm Sling) Kidz
The medi Armschlinge Kidz is a shoulder joint support. The product is exclusively to be used for the orthotic fitting of the shoulder and only on intact skin.
Medi Armschlinge Kidz is characterised by its particularly soft material that provides a high level of comfort. Thanks to the practical hook and loop fastening, the shoulder brace is easy to open, thus facilitating early functional aftercare, for example, for physiotherapy. It was developed specially to fit children. The modern child-friendly design rounds off the shoulder sling for young patients.
The Medi Armschlinge Kidz is used for all indications requiring immobilization of the shoulder joint in internal rotation, such as:
- Nonsurgical treatment after anterior shoulder dislocation and /or chronic subluxation
- After rotator cuff repair
- Acromioclavicular joint dislocation (nonsurgical, postoperative)
- Scapula fractures (nonsurgical, postoperative)
- Fractures of the humerus head (nonsurgical, postoperative)
Medi Armschlinge Kidz allows a secure positioning of the shoulder and elbow joint - to protect against harmful movements. It limits the range of motion of the shoulder in all planes, thus enabling its immobilisation. This secure positioning of the shoulder can promote the healing process. The shoulder sling can be worn on both the left and right side. It is available in two sizes, making it possible to select a perfectly fitting product.

Intended purpose:
Shoulder joint brace for immobilisation in a defined position.
Material Components:
- Cotton
- Polyamide
- Open the Velcro of the sleeve and lay the arm into the sling.
- Pull the shoulder belt across over the back, pull through the sleeve and secure with the Velcro fastener.
- Wrap the hip belt around and fasten with the Velcro strip.
- The sleeve can be adapted to fit all sizes, simply fold up and secure with Velcro tabs. A thumb sleeve can be ordered separately.
