DUO reduces force when sitting, making it ideal for patients who need to wear a brace for daily activities.
Dynamic loading means the unloading force is only applied when it is needed; in the last 30 degrees of extension, when the knee goes into flexion the brace then removes the unloading. This is particularly helpful when an individual is required to wear the OA brace all day. The load backs off when they are sitting and is not needed.
